The Saucony has launched its new product, Saucony Kinvara 11 running shoe. It is very similar to our previous favorite Kinvara 10 with very imperative and upright changes. So, here is Saucony Kinvara 11 running shoes are not that much different. There are very few changes, the biggest of which is the removal of EVA+ from the midsole. Now, it is just PWRRUN Mitchell material.

Now they have streamlined this ankle collar, removed some of the cushioning, limited a lot of the welded overlays while adding some additional fabric thick heavier overlays, simplified the outsole a bit. But ultimately, there is not a lot of differences. So, if you are used to the Kinvara 9 or 10, you are gonna be right at home in the Kinvara. We love all of these tiny ingredient changes.

Saucony Kinvara 11: Heel Contour

We have a heel counter that was risen slightly to wrap onto your Achilles a little bit more. You are not going to have any of that heel slippage. It has a band that goes around, so the form fits the upper. It is pretty loose as the heel counter stiffens up this band use serves.

It is like one continuous wrap around your heel which kind of enforces that hug on there. So, when you are tightening down these laces that are going to help with securing your heel. So, you are not going to have any heel slippage.

In the midsole, we have the PWRRUN midsole that is super responsive. It is not like the most cushioned shoe. So, if you have other shoes in the Saucony line, you have the PWRRUN+ that is extremely cushioned.

It comes in at 7.8 ounces, the foam is a little bit firmer than the PWRRUN+. It is the PWRRUN and going to be a lot more responsive. Saucony Kinvara 11 running shoe is the type of shoe that after you are going pretty hard or pushing yourself to go on those long miles, the shoe is great for a marathon distance and half marathon distance. This is the perfect shoe for going the distance.

Saucony Kinvara 11: Outsole

The outsole got more power and down, it has got a little bit of rubber in the forefoot and heel. You can also see there is not a ton of wear on the foam. This shoe probably would not wear out in the rain.

We would say this shoe is a great all-around shoe highly recommended to your rents. In this Saucony Kinvara 11 running shoes, here is a medial post we have a little bit firmer rubber as you can see. It is a little bit firmer, so you are going to have that tad bit of stability.

The upper part of Saucony Kinvara 11 wraps around your foot and hugs it softly. There are not many changes in the upper unit. It has minimal print on the upper part.

We would not say it is super forgiving so when you buy this shoe, lace it up to make sure that you buy it true to size. The one thing we did not like about the upper part was the length of the laces.

We were hoping with the PWRRUN+ or the PWRRUN that we get a lighter shoe. But we do not know where the extra weight is coming from in this shoe. But Kinvara continues to grow and evolve. We got to see new foam compounds that are even lighter than PWRRUN, but it is very similar to that last version.
